Electrical Inspection
Comprehensive electrical system inspection for home sales, renovations, or safety checks. We identify code violations, hazards, and aging components before they become problems.
How it works
Schedule and Walk-Through
We discuss your concerns, the age of your home, and any known issues. You show us the panel locations and any problem areas.
Comprehensive Inspection
We examine the service entrance, panels, wiring, outlets, switches, grounding, and GFCI/AFCI protection. We test circuits and document conditions with photos.
Written Report
You receive a detailed report listing all findings, safety concerns, code violations, and recommended repairs, prioritized by urgency.
Follow-Up and Repairs
We answer your questions, explain the findings, and provide estimates for any necessary repairs. If you choose us for the work, we handle it start to finish.
Common questions
How long does an inspection take?+
Most residential inspections take 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the size of the home and the complexity of the system. Larger homes or those with multiple subpanels take longer.
Do I need to be home during the inspection?+
It helps if you're available to answer questions and provide access to all areas, but it's not required. We do need access to the main panel, subpanels, attic, basement, and all rooms.
What if the inspection finds problems?+
We provide a clear report of what needs attention and why. You decide how to proceed. If repairs are needed, we can handle them, or you can use the report to coordinate with another contractor or negotiate with a buyer or seller.
